The Moonlit Wings Series

Cemetery Moon

Book One of the Moonlit Wings series

Following the murder of her beloved father, Mya Cotton is left bitter, heartbroken, and...a secret trust inheritance of two million dollars.  With it comes a neglected cemetery called Idlewild, which her father specifically gives to her because it is sentimental to him.  As Mya sets out to solve the mystery of the cemetery, her anger is fueled by Marco De La Zahn, the equally bitter, unnaturally handsome estate attorney, who courts her.  In stark contrast, showing up on her doorstep one night is her homeless new groundskeeper, Percival Shelby, another curiously handsome man, who speaks of love and caring for others as the key to true happiness.  It's only when Mya makes a life-changing decision that she learns the identity of the two men in her life vying for her love, and is able to solve Idlewild's final mystery and fulfill her father's last wishes.

Sanctuary

Book Three in the Moonlit Wings series

Mya doesn't feel very married, but why should she?  She didn't have a real wedding, no one calls her Mrs. Shelby, and she doesn't even have a wedding ring.  To top it off, when she believes her guardian angel and new husband, Pershabael, has stood her up on her birthday, she accepts an invitation from Mazriel to join him for the evening.  Consequently, she gets his assistant and live-in lover fired and thrown out of Mazriel's penthouse suite by encouraging her to disobey him.  Turning to the only kind person she'd ever met, bitter and cynical Jennifer Davidson contacts Mya for help smoothing Maz's ruffled feathers, but Mya soon discovers the dark angel has wielded his corrupting influence on her the same way he once influenced Mya.  Joining forces with Pershabael and Jennifer's own guardian, Daniel, Mya works to undo Mazriel's hold on Jennifer, all the while, giving moral support to the overwhelmed, wedding-planning Mercedes, dealing with the throng of female admirers Pershabael's acquired through his new job as a waiter, and struggling to come to terms with the possibility she just may still have feelings for Mazriel.

The Scent of Rain

Book Four in the Moonlit Wings series

Mya has her hands full enough dealing with the lawsuit the pastor of the Wonder and Light Open Bible Church has brought against her after that little skirmish in the parking lot, not to mention the fact he wants to burn her art: the nudes the angels at Idlewild Cemetery have graciously posed for over the years.  But when her lover, the guardian angel, Pershabael and her ex-lover, the fallen angel, Mazriel, come together under her roof to help sort it all out, it's all Mya can do to keep the angels from going for each other's throats every time they pass in the hall.  They are sworn enemies, so it's only right.  What worries Mya most is when those sworn enemies suddenly become the best of friends.  That's when she realizes something's up between them and it's definitely not right.

Whispers in the Wind

Book Five in the Moonlit Wings series

Mya realizes prayers aren't always answered the way she thinks they should be when her pleas for her friend, Mercedes, who is having a difficult pregnancy, results in the sudden appearance of the stunningly beautiful seraph, Garamond, who doesn't seem to have a clue how to help anybody.  Even though Mya's guardian angel, Pershabael, takes her under his wing, so to speak, everything Garamond does seems to rub Mya the wrong way.  More so when Mya discovers Pershabael and the lovely Garamond have a past.
