Another Year in the Books

Pun intended.

Here's what's going on right now. The Smashwords End-of-Year Sale. All the eBooks are on sale. Cemetery Moon and The Angel of All That Matters are free with the remainder of the series' titles at 75% off. My hope is get readers hooked on one, or both, of the series and then they will buy the rest of the books. It has worked for me before, so I thought I'd give it another try. The last sale Smashwords had, I believe it was the Read-An-EBook week sale, was wildly successful for me. I did market it more than I usually do because I wanted to attract new readers and I think I did. This time around, the books are free or like $1.50. Not bad for a full length novel. Fingers crossed.

I actually did begin the process of publishing Cemetery Moon in hardcover, but it didn't go far, unfortunately. I thought KDP could utilize the existing book file, but they wanted a new one with new formats and such. It wasn't going to work for me at this time, but I am just putting it on the back burner. I may look into it again if I ever get an updated word program. Oh well.

One last thing. I actually downgraded my webpage here. The plan I had gone up in costs by a significant amount and I realized I was paying for a lot of perks I didn't need or use. The webpage will remain the same throughout January, but then early February it will change. I'm hoping it will still function the same way minus the unnecessary bells and whistles. We'll see.
