Boy, this is the saddest little blog ever! I can't believe the last time I posted an update here was back in September. But then, yes, I can. And for a while I was debating back and forth if even keeping this site up and running was worth the price (it's expensive) but then I came to the conclusion this is the only real marketing I pay for regarding my books so, in that respect, it's not so bad. I really, really, regret dumping my last website, too, so I'm hesitant to dump this one after all the work I put into it.
I just have to try to put more effort into this site and make it earn its keep. At least with this blog, I'm free to shout out my news to my devoted following. At least this month I actually have some newsy tidbits for you. Merry Christmas a little early and all that.
First, the un-illustrated version of my short story anthology, The Beat of His Wings and Other Heart Sounds (I've always loved that title!) is on mega-sale over on Amazon.com. Best to search my name instead of trying to put in all those words, it will take you everywhere if you do. Anyway, it's below half-off the original retail. Less than $5! I'd go grab some copies if I were you. I don't get any insight on when these Amazon sales happen or how long they will last, so if you want a nice little sexy read under $5, or a gift for the holidays, buy some now.
In other news, on some whim or another, I finally got around to painting the infamous nude painting Mya did of Percy in Idlewild. And while my version isn't as risque as Miss Mya's, it's still sexy. I promised I'd post it here. Let me know what you all think.
Unfortunately, the colors are a little wash-out. I took this photo with my phone and it wouldn't pick up the true colors. He's actually golden. And his hair is a vibrant strawberry blonde. Until I can make a scan of it to upload into my computer files, this will have to do, but you guys get the idea.
One last thing. My number one resolution next year is to finish If Wishes Were Horses. Publishing it would be gravy, but I want to do that, too. So, stay tuned to this site and check into my social media sites for other updates on it.
