Well, they said it would take 72 hours to get the eBook live and on the Amazon site, but it only took an hour or so. That said, the Kindle version is published as of last Friday! Woohoo! Now, I've been reading it on my Kindle and I have found a couple of places where the format got weird, but nothing to panic over.
Here's more good news. Thanks to my dear friend, Michele Peters, I was able to upload an acceptable file to the new Kindle Create thingie I had to install, but it did all the formatting of the paperback for me--once I figured out how to get everything where I wanted it, and the first proof of the paperback version of Nightfall's Angel has been ordered! Double woohoo! The cover came out really cool and I'm very happy with the interior the way the KC made it. I didn't have all the creative freedom I had with the other books, but I'm just happy this novel is almost there. This one was a long time coming. Hopefully my next novel won't have this many hiccups in getting published. Fingers crossed!
